Registering on the site

As a user of our new Family Services Directory and Local Offer Online you have the option of registering on our site and creating a profile.

By creating a profile you give us a better idea of what services you are interested in and what services are of the most relevance to you. When you have a profile you are able to take advantage of our shortlist system, which works much like a shopping basket in that it allows you to save all your chosen services and information pages that you’d like to hold onto, print or share. With your own profile, your shortlist is saved for the next time you want to use the system. If you don’t register, you can still use the ‘shortlist’ function but your list will ‘clear’ once you close your internet browser and your selection will not be saved.

Creating a profile also means that if you need to access any services which have an application process - your details are already stored and you can easily complete these tasks.

Coming soon, this will mean you can quickly check eligibility for the two year old free childcare offer.

And if you have a child with special needs or a disability – you will be able to sign them up to the Disabled Children’s Register and new ‘care passport’ service.

To create a profile simply click ‘My Account’ on the top right of the screen and fill in your name and e-mail address. You will then receive a six digit code by e-mail which will be used to confirm your account.

You are welcome to use our new online services as a guest - this will not require you to input any information and you will not be required to log in. As a guest you will still be able to use all the services but no information including search results will be saved.
