About ESCP

Ealing Safeguarding Children Partnership (ESCP) is a statutory body established to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people in the borough. It replaced the former Ealing Safeguarding Children Board on 29th September 2019.

Comprising representatives from the statutory, private and voluntary sectors, its core duty is to ensure that there are adequate arrangements within and between agencies to protect children from harm.

The ESCP arrangements involve lead responsibility for safeguarding children in Ealing being shared between Ealing Council, NHS North West London Integrated Care Board and the Metropolitan Police Service, West Area.

Full details on the ESCP arrangements are attached.
