The EPEC Being a Parent course is designed to support you in understanding your child’s feelings and behaviour and help you to learn effective strategies to promote positive behaviour, development and communication skills.

What does the course cover?

The course is intended to support parents in understanding their children’s feelings and behaviour and learn effective strategies to promote children’s positive behaviour, development and communication skills.

The Being a Parent course will be delivered by certified parent trainers who will lead on topics such as child-led play; how to acknowledge and validate feelings; limit setting in the home; time-outs; praise and rewards.

Who can attend the course?

This is a free course available for parents, grandparents and carers of children aged 2-11yrs in Ealing. 

How many sessions are there?

The Being a Parent course runs for 8 weeks.
