The Dormers Wells Trust which has worked in partnership with Ealing Council to provide children’s centre services to the local community for more than 10 years is closing on 31st August 2018.

This will mean the closure of their nursery and community and children’s centre activities from this date. Ealing Council is working hard to get services are back up and running as soon as possible. However, there is likely to be a temporary break in services.

We are working with Dormers Wells Trust to ensure children who attend the nursery are placed at alternative good quality nurseries and families using the children’s centre services are redirected to alternative children’s centres in the area such as at Southall Park, Grove House, Windmill Park or Hanwell Children’s Centres.

If any of these changes affect you and you would like some advice and guidance on alternative services in the area, please visit Ealing’s Family Services Directory at or contact Ealing ’s Family Information Service on 020 8825 5588 (Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm) or email

Have your say on the future of Ealing children’s centres 2019-22

Ealing’s consultation on the future of our children’s centres runs for 12 weeks, from 22 February to 17 May 2019.  We would like to hear from you if you have children under the age of five in your family, or if you are expecting a baby; and if you make use of our children’s centres, regularly, or occasionally and even if you have not yet used a centre but were planning to.

We will do all we can to make it as easy as possible for everyone to have their say. You can take part in the consultation through:

  • Attending a meeting at your local children’s centre (dates and times will be advertised on your children’s centre noticeboard) or by selecting the children's centre of your choice from the search facility on this website.
  • You can complete an online survey;
  • Or fill in a printed survey which can be found at your local children's centre.  Once complete, please return the survey either to your local children’s centre or Ealing’s Family Information Service (FIS), based at Ealing Council, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road, Ealing W5 2HL.

Children's Centre Consultation Meetings at Dormers Wells Children's Centre:
