Perinatal Mental Health Service

West London Mental Health Trust offers Tier 3 perinatal mental health services throughout the boroughs of Ealing, Hounslow, Hammersmith and Fulham.

Perinatal refers to the period before a baby is conceived, right through pregnancy up to when the baby is a few weeks old. In Ealing, mental health support is offered to new mums up until the baby is six months old.

This service is for mums-to-be with diagnosed mental health conditions, in particular those that have the potential to worsen during challenging times such as in pregnancy and with managing a new baby.

Access to the service is through a health professional such as a GP or through a social care provider.
