Wood End Children's Centre

Due to the advice on social distancing and staying at home, all children’s centre group activities have been put on hold. Some services such as seeing a midwife will still carry on, you will contacted by our health partners to advise if this will be face to face or via phone .

Therefore, most of our children’s centres centres (not all) will be operating with reduced staffing.

We are looking at ways to support families remotely. Our plan is that over the next couple of weeks we aim to make contact either by phone or email with all families who were regularly attending children’s centre sessions just to say hello and see if we can give you any information or advice that can help.

We will be sharing important information and keeping you up-to-date with developments on our Family Information Service facebook page as well as tips and advice on how to stay well, keep active and keep your children busy during these difficult times.

Please follow our page and invite your friends and family to follow it.

The Family Information Service is available to answer questions, especially about childcare arrangements and supporting key / critical workers and to give advice and guidance wherever possible.

Please email in the first instance or call 020 8825 5588 (Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm).

Wood End Children's Centre is a great place to bring babies and children aged 0-5years. In providing safe play and bringing families together for fun activities we hope to support the all-important early development of local children. Come in and discover new ways to play, new songs to sing and new stories to share.

We are committed to meeting the needs of the whole family and offer advice and support from a range of professionals as well as parent open meetings that inform the services on offer to families. Running services at weekends and for 51 weeks of the year we aim to encourage all families with young children to come in and share in play that ranges from free services to nursery education.

If you would like more information drop by or pick up the phone and give us a ring.
